Cookie Policy

1. What we mean by "cookies"

This policy covers cookies and equivalent technologies such as localStorage, which is what Healthidia mostly relies on. Both store small pieces of data in your browser.

2. Strictly necessary (always on)

• Authentication session. Your sign-in token, issued by our managed authentication provider, is stored in your browser so you stay signed in between pages. Without it you cannot use the app.
• Security state. Short-lived values used for passkey (Face ID / Touch ID / security key) sign-in and to protect against replayed requests.
• Consent record. Your cookie choice itself, so we do not ask again on every visit.

These are required to deliver a service you have requested and do not need consent under GDPR/ePrivacy rules.

3. Functional preferences (optional)

• Whether you dismissed the beta notice.
• Your chosen subtitle language for the introduction videos.
• Minor interface choices such as the last view you used in a list.

These never contain health data. If you reject them, the app still works — you may just see notices again on your next visit.

4. Analytics and marketing

We currently use neither. Healthidia loads no analytics, measurement, advertising, or social-media tracking scripts. If that ever changes, we will update this page, ask for your consent before loading anything, and add the category to the preferences dialog.

5. Changing your choice

Select Cookie Settings in the footer of any page to reopen the preferences dialog. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes everything including your sign-in session.
